Admin Assistant (L5) - VCL 219 - The League of Welldoers


We are looking for a volunteer admin assistant to help run our small office within The League of Welldoers in Vauxhall. Hours to suit the volunteer. The ideal volunteer must have some office experience and have experience with using the internet and computer. Free tea/coffee and lunch will be provided for the volunteer.

Must have some office experience ability to use a computer / internet would help. Neat and tidy individual who can work in support of others or with an individual task, reliability is important.



Admin/Personnel Assistant (L4) - VCL 616 - Liverpool Lighthouse


Provides assistance to Human Resource and Volunteering department by processing the first phase of new staff paperwork from the point of hire through missionary appointment completion.

To produce and maintain personnel records with regards to Holidays/ Sickness and other absences. To take interim responsibility for volunteers welfare. To establish a system for collating statistical data and monitoring processes for use as & when necessary.

Skill in operating a computer is necessary, preferably with experience using Microsoft Word and Excel. Since the associate will be stationed at a desk in a main entry area and will make a first impression on guests and visitors, it is expected that they will report to work presenting a neat and clean appearance. The dress code is "business casual" (no jeans or shorts). A pleasant demeanor and attitude, along with a servant's heart, are also required.



Admin Support - Part Time (L16) - VMM


VMM has a friendly and busy office in Hope University responsible for all aspects of charity growth. Admin and support is required to assist the Manager and other members of staff as we work to assist those in Africa living in poverty. 

General tasks would include developing our database, mail postings, tallying charity shops income. The post could also include events participation, marketing and recruitment of volunteers for overseas mission and development.

We will provide you with an opportunity to gain valuable and varied work experience in a committed local charity. Training courses can also be provided.
This voluntary role is for three or six months or more and is flexible. It is likely to require 4-8 hours per week or more if available.



Admin Assistant (L9)  -VCL 911 - PARTIA


 As an office administrator you’ll be expected to turn your hand to jobs such as:
• Answering the phones
• Typing
• Filing
• Managing diaries
• review and answer correspondence
• supervise and coordinate activities of staff
Volunteers aged 16+ years.



Administrative Assistant (L2) - VCL 563 - Shelter


Assisting the administrator with reception duties supporting the operation of your local Shelter Office in their day to day to day business.  You will assist by:
Meeting and greeting clients
Booking in clients for interviews with our advisers
Giving out information and leaflets
'Signposting' people to other services if we are unable to help
Inputting information on to our Case Management Systems
General basic admin, such as photocopying, scanning, creating client files and filing

Effective communication skills and the ability to understand the needs of our customers
Willingness to follow Shelter's policies, including volunteering, health and safety, equality and diversity and confidentiality.
A half a day or one day per week minimum time commitment is suggested for around 6 months, but this is flexible



Administrative Assistant (L4) - VCL 044 - Bradbury Fields


Volunteers are required to empty collection boxes, count money and record amounts. Update and file information in paper format and on computer. Print and laminate certificates and type and print letters.
Basic numeracy skills required as well as office skills and knowledge of using I.T systems.
Volunteers age 18+ years.



Administration and Reception Volunteer - VCL 797 - Crisis


We are looking for volunteers to support and take direction from our admin team and to undertake administrative tasks in the Crisis office. If you would like some office experience and to further your admin skills we would love to hear from you.

Tasks include answering
* Being a welcoming and enthusiastic face of our Merseyside office
* Office administration tasks including database, filing, email, paperwork etc. As well as admin generated by the team. Inputting client feedback, conducting research, inputting first contact forms and photo release forms
* Support the Crisis reception area in person and on the phone
* Explain the Crisis timetable and talk to members about activities/sessions and any new developments
* Answer general enquires and take messages



Administration Assistant Volunteer (L8) - VCL 504 - Addaction


To assist the project administrator with reception and telephone duties dealing with service users and partnership agencies in person and over the phone. To offer support with I.T. based communications, finance and payroll systems, purchasing office & stationary provisions, event planning and liaising with outside agencies. With 5 sites (Young Persons & Adults services) across Liverpool. Administration support is required across all 5 sites, this can be discussed with volunteer manager. Volunteers age 18+ years.
