          Crisis Merseyside are looking for a volunteer to support their members in putting togeter a magazine which is produced four times a year

This is short term opportunity from 26th June until 14 July

Tasks would include:

Supporting the members to meet the print deadline

Gathering articles for submission

Editing the final edition of the magazine

Putting together the final version using Microsoft Publisher and promoting the magazine sessions to members.

Ideally you will have good graphic design skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Publisher.

  St Johns Shopping Centre  Events over the coming year, averaging out about one event each month

They are looking for volunteers to take ownership of various events happening at the shopping Centre.

LightNight 2017 is taking place on Friday 19 May. Open Culture are looking for a team of volunteers who are passionate about the arts to help out on the night.

If you want to gain experience working in the arts and fancy being part of one of the biggest night in Liverpool's cultural calendar, then we want to hear from you!

There are volunteer briefing sessions on 9, 10, and 11 May

Feeling like doing something incredible and changing people's lives in the process?

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Liverpool Rock'n' Roll Marathon and Half Marathon cheer team to  ensure our team of runners receive the support they deserve along the course.


Line the streets of Liverpool and help motivate our runners as they take on these incredible challenges to help fight demenytia. Our runners are hoping to raise over £35,000 from this event, and they want you there too keep you going!


Our marathon runners will be starting at the Albert Dock before heading towards the Cavern Club and then a jaunt down Penny Lane. From there they will head towards Goodison Park and Anfield, with the run culminating in a finish on the waterfront promenade alongside the Liverpool Echo Arena.

                                     ACT Youth Project

Short term volunteering supporting vulnerable migrants in Greece or Italy.

Merseyside Expanding Horizon are looking to recruit 15  young people ( 18+) who are not in education, employment or training and are interested in intercultural issues to join either a 2 or six month project  ( 5 volunteers at a time from June 2017 to August 2018.) in the field of migration in Italy or Greece.

This Erasmus funded project aims to involve volunteers from France, UK and Belgium, as well as Greece and Italy supporting vulnerable migrants.

You will be provided with, flights, insurance,accomodation, food local transport and pocket money as well as being trained in:

Intercultural Communication

Fundemental Rights of Migrants

Security, Health and Safety

Reception and intergration of migrants in Greece / Italy.

                                   Do you want to help a national Charity?


Prostate UK has has an ambition to stop men dying from prostate cancer, and you can help them by videoing an event at Everton's Football Club on Wednesday 7 June

This Summer, Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling will once again set out on Jeff's Mens United March with the aim to walk 15 marathons in 15 days, walking 400 miles and visiting 40 football clubs, leaving St James Park in Exeter on 2nd June.

Jeff arrives at Everton Football Club on Wednesday 7 June after leaving Chester FC.

They need a videographer  on that day to help them capture a variety of video footage to showcase Jeff, his friends, colleagues and football supporters through their journey.

Though you will definately need to be available on 7 June, you may also be needed a day either side in other places. Travel expenses will be paid.

You need to have experience of filming and be happy to take responsibility for your own camera equipment.

Agree and able to follow Prostate Cancer UK's style guidelines,

Be able to work remotely with little supervision,

Have an understanding of brand identity and importance of brand guidelines.

You will get a full briefing and support from staff

There is a minimum age of 16 for this role
